Every once in a while, a new menu item of the oh-sh*t-I-need-to-try-that-now variety goes across our paths. Hardee’s Garlic Bread Thickburger absolutely fits that description, health goals be damned.
Launched together with another garlicky, delicious-sounding menu item that we’ll be able to in a second, the burger is arriving to hardees catering menu locations nationwide June 19. The 1/3-pound Black Angus beef patty is served on butter-toasted sourdough bread (YUM) having a buttery garlic herb spread, parmesan crisps, and caramelized onions. Whoever made a decision to add parm crisps As well as a slice of cheese, a chef’s kiss for you.
Also new to menus nationwide: the Cheesy Garlic Fries. Following within the footsteps of fast food brands like McDonald’s and Taco Bell, Hardee’s is bringing a brand new type of cheesy fries to the masses. Their rendition is topped with a garlic butter sauce and cheese and can be added to the combo for as little as a dollar. Hardee’s menu includes bacon cheddar fries and curly fries, FYI.
The burger and fries were tested at Hardee’s west coast sister brand Carl’s Jr. late a year ago, though it’s not even clear if they’ll be included to those menus, too. More good-to-know details: Both merchandise is limited-time offerings and their prices can vary slightly by location. The burger starts at $5.29.
The partnership marks Hardee’s first-ever influencer team-up, and will demand kid’s meals that can come complete with four exclusive toys from Ryan’s expansive product brand, Ryan’s World. Later this season, another children’s channel repped by Ryan’s studio partner, Pocket.watch – HobbyKidsTV, via their newly-formed HobbyKids Aventures entertainment brand – will launch similar toys in Hardee’s and sister chain Carl’s Jr. (Both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. are belonging to parent company CKE Restaurants).
“Our people are digital-first,” Hardee’s director of brand marketing, Jenna Folk, told CNN. She also noted that Hardee’s stopped vending kids’ meals – which it calls Star Pals – eight years ago, however the company has since noticed an increase in families eating at fast-food chains, citing recent studies.
As part of his partnership with https://www.hardees.com/, Ryan will even showcase the 4 exclusive toys on his massive YouTube channel. The products (see below) include: unknown egg with a puzzle inside, a Ryan figurine, a water toy, and fuzwov rolling panda. The Star Pals meals, launching next week, will include chicken tenders or perhaps a burger, a side of applesauce, as well as a milk beverage – starting at $3.99.
“This partnership with CKE is an ideal extension of Ryan’s World, the amazing character universe created by Ryan and his family,” said Edwina Cumberbatch, Pocket.watch’s manager of sales and co-promotion.
